Apparently it takes several days after you get the XO before T-Mobile gets the account info.
Keep trying at 
 http://64.34.176.239/get_ref.html 
using your Purchase Order number (the one that looks like 70000xxxxx)
and the email address you ordered with.
It will eventually work.
(BTW, I also got the XO before the email announcing it was shipped)
