My WEP connection experience.

I have a theory that WEB works as long as you use a 128 bit HEX key.

WEP worked for me right away using 128 HEX key with the "Open" (as opposed
to shared option).

Later I tried to connect to my Dad's wireless network where he wasn't using
a 128bit key and I couldn't connect using his key. So I (actually my
brother... sorry about that dad) switched his encryption over to 128 bit. We
entered in the new key and the XO connected.

Give 128 bit keys a try!
