jumping cursor

On occasion I've experienced such extensive cursor jumping as to render 
the lappie useless, short of installing a USB mouse. Being more like a 
child than a thinking adult, I put some silicone-based lubricant (e.g. 
wheel wet) on the pad. No more jumping. (Perhaps we are dealing with a 
correlation rather than a cause-and-effect, but like any superstitious 
behavior it's worth a try. ;-)
