This is likely not a new question but I have not been able to find an answer. My apologies if I am using poor netiquette.
I cannot get on line. I have ATT Wireless. After talking with ATT, I understand that most wireless is 64 bit (I do not know what this means) and that there are no choices for a 64 when i am trying to connect to my wireless modem from my new OLPC.
Does this mean I can forget getting on the internet entire;ly or can I use a cable. I am going to Mexico. Are things different there in most Internet places? How do other kids in other parts of the world connect if I cannot. Are there different world standards? I sort of wish I knew this before I got into this.
Thanks for any thoughts you may have. I am not sure how to use this discussion group and will try to learn how to. I can be reached at jbglapaz at yahoo.com
Thanks!
John
