Hi. Sorry things are a bit hectic, our support sites have only recently come
online, so we are still organizing.

It does sound like a bug. Would you care to report it and work with
developers to test fixes? OLPC relies on its users to discover and report
back problems and bugs (with instructions on how to recreate, and what
version of software you are running). When you have a "1 in 10,000 times"
bug, and 100,000+ copies get distributed, it takes communication to track
them down and fix them all.

Instructions on how to report a bug:
http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Support#How_do_I_report_a_bug
The bug-tracking (and development) site: http://dev.laptop.org/

Cheers!
