Comment:
* yes, the image is written without compression,
* no, it's not a security bug; the security of the user data is not
compromised by this action alone,
* how was the media formatted? in my tests, open firmware is used to
format the media.
* what version of open firmware are you using? we made significant
changes to ext2, ext3, ext4, fat16 and fat32 filesystem support since
initial release.
