 * the earliest evidence of heap corruption so far, is an instance of olpc-
 brightness forked by olpc-kbdshim-udev in response to key press, which
 hung in ld.so at _dl_map_object_deps, before passing control to
 /usr/bin/bash: http://dev.laptop.org/~quozl/z/1aMrRC.txt
