 Thanks, I acknowledge you have kept the OpenGL packages because you
 prioritise navigation of Ceibal web page above desktop stability.

 But I did not observe any difference in navigation.  Can you please
 describe what you mean by navigation being almost impossible?

 Response of cursor was only tested with touchpad.  The problem was that
 during the test, while the Ceibal web site was on display, the mouse
 cursor did not continue to track as a finger was slowly moved across the
 touchpad.  The mouse cursor would pause and then catch up.  The problem
 occurred for each configuration of packages.  The problem occurred on all
 laptops used for the test.  No other problem with cursor or touchpad was
 found.
