#12841: reconnect to infrastructure network fails after disconnect from ad-hoc
-------------------------------------+-------------------------------------
Reporter: Quozl | Owner: Quozl
Type: defect | Status: new
Priority: normal | Milestone: 14.1.0
Component: network manager | Version: Development
Keywords: | build as of this date
Blocking: | Blocked By:
Action Needed: diagnose | Deployments affected:
| Verified: 0
-------------------------------------+-------------------------------------
Context: Sugar 0.102 on Fedora 20 on XO-1.75 and XO-4 using local build 5.
Problem: after disconnecting from an ad-hoc network, an automatic
reconnect to a previously favourite infrastructure network does not
succeed, and the icon continues to pulse.
Reproducer !#1:
* connect to an access point,
* connect to an ad-hoc network,
* disconnect from the ad-hoc network,
Reproducer !#2:
* as above, but use nmcli for last two steps,
{{{
nmcli connection up "Sugar Ad-hoc Network 11"
sleep 5
nmcli connection down "Sugar Ad-hoc Network 11"
}}}
Expected result: automatic reconnection to the access point.
Observed result: pulsing icon, no automatic reconnection.
Workaround: right click, disconnect, right click, connect.
