 Reproduced locally.

 A USB drive containing a /boot/olpc.fth file:

 \ olpc.fth
 visible essid Ad-hoc Network 1
 test-antenna
 }}}

 Three XO-4 laptops running 13.2.0-13 and configured for Sugar Ad-hoc
 Network 1.

 Fifteen (15) XO-1, XO-1.5, and XO-1.75 laptops booted using the USB drive.

 Within seconds, all three XO-4 laptops reported a mwifiex timeout
 corresponding to #12763.
