Comment:

 Timeouts are very generic.  The original report here seems likely to be
 #12657.  Some timeouts are still seen in my tests (once every few hours),
 but they don't wedge the machine, usually the kernel module can be removed
 and reloaded.  A patch to reset the card might be suitable; there is one
 in 3.12.
