 * the aforementioned patch relocated the page allocation failures
 [http://dev.laptop.org/~quozl/z/1VgqFs.txt deeper in the call stack, in
 tcp_send_ack], although they seem harmless.
  * therefore mwifiex was acting as an early warning, and there remains an
 underlying allocation problem to be solved.
