Occasionally I notice in my testbed that sudo hangs the console. My test
scripts have many instances of sudo in them and will stop. When this
happens the shell that is running the command is totally hung (VT or sugar
terminal). You can't ctrl-c and you can't kill it. You can however start
up another shell and use the machine. Just don't try to run sudo again or
 it hangs.

I've been noticing this since 13.1.x but previously there was almost no
indication of what was wrong (nothing in dmesg or system logs). An strace
of sudo showed that it was hanging when it was trying to do some netlink
 type stuff.

In 13.2.x (build 5) however this now seems to be associated with a mwifiex
error. In the cases I've seen sudo hang a dmesg always shows a prvious
timeout error in the mwifiex driver. I've attached the dmesg from a unit
 I found today.
