Comment:

 Fixed in cairo-1.12.8-2.fc18

 Now after 4 hours the gradient of the "memory free against time" graph is
 -0.106 +/- 0.096 . i.e. no leak, or a possible remaining leak that is very
 insignificant.

 For future reference, this was plotted and calculated with gnuplot against
 a file of one-entry-per-line free memory readings:
