Comment(by wad):

 All runs except the last were: boot laptop into OFW, run menu, select the
 "switches" button using the touchscreen/touchpad.  When prompted to close
 the laptop to test the switch, I instead press ESC, then press ESC again.
 Then I press the "stop (X)" button in menu, then type "boot".

 The last run, I typed "watch-battery" (which worked) and let it update a
 few times before typing "boot".
