12-01-2013 17:34:05 [shep] how exactly am I supposed to be able to tell
whether runin is still running fine or if there has been a failure?
12-01-2013 17:34:54 [shep] It's been going 4+ hours and appears to be
OK when I look at the laptop.
12-01-2013 17:35:25 [shep] But I am seeing error messages scroll by on
the serial console. (If I understand correctly, when runin is used
at the factory no one will be watching the serial console.)
12-01-2013 17:36:02 [shep] the error message I'm seeing on the serial
console, at the rate of several per second, is:
12-01-2013 17:36:05 [shep] hub 1-0:1.0: unable to enumerate USB device
on port 1
12-01-2013 17:37:30 [shep] and it looks like it is not managing to
suspend.... e.g.
12-01-2013 17:37:35 [shep] [14503.612760] Freezing of tasks aborted
after 8.89 seconds (1 tasks refusing to freeze, wq_busy=0):
12-01-2013 17:37:35 [shep] [14503.621740]
12-01-2013 17:37:35 [shep] [14503.623233] Restarting kernel threads
... done.
12-01-2013 17:37:35 [shep] [14503.627611] Restarting tasks ...
12-01-2013 17:38:57 [shep] and BTW, this is build 24 installed, and then
latest kernel ( 3.5.7-00322-g6ebcabf )
12-01-2013 17:39:54 [shep] ... and this is with btmrvl_sdio and
mwifiex_sdio kernel modules blacklisted (as pgf suggested I do on
the B1 laptops I have)
}}}
{{{
13-01-2013 12:51:37 > pgf: it would be interesting to know what's refusing
to freeze. do you have USB devices inserted?
13-01-2013 14:26:18 [shep] pgf no USB devices on that machine.
13-01-2013 15:00:06 [shep] pgf: if you
like, you can peruse the console log at:
