Comment(by dsd):

 The test case errors go away when kernel commit
 858059d215b8d386eaf320bd17355cb185c3eab7 is reverted. But then Scratch
 fails to play sound with lots of "snd_pcm_writei returned -11" in the
 logs. I think this is  the right direction though, now we have to look
 into that error.
