If an XO-1.75 is upgraded to 13.1.0, with consequent reflash of Open
Firmware and EC firmware, and then downgraded to 12.1.0, then it can no
longer boot 12.1.0. A kernel panic occurs, with errors associated with
eMMC.
Cause appears to be the SD power change in EC 1.0.01 not working with the
kernel in 12.1.0.
Workaround is to downgrade Open Firmware and EC firmware to the versions
that were previously present.
http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Release_notes/13.1.0 does not mention this.
