Comment(by greenfeld):

 With the dove driver on os28 the idle CPU usage stays around 60% so powerd
 does not suspend (the default required idle level is 85%).

 With the fbdev driver the idle CPU usage is a bit over 80% when viewed by
 top, so powerd has a better chance of reaching its default suspend point.
