Comment(by dsd):

 This fails with the same message (after a few tries):

 `gst-launch filesrc locaion=small.mp4 ! decodebin ! vmetaxvimagesink`

 But with normal xvimagesink things look OK:

 `gst-launch filesrc locaion=small.mp4 ! decodebin ! xvimagesink`
