Comment:

 There are several problems caused by XDG_RUNTIME_DIR not being set like it
 should, a regression in olpc-utils-4.0.0. In this case libdconf tries to
 create a writable mmap in /home/olpc (instead of /run/user) and fails (not
 supported in jffs2), aborting the process.

 Fixed in olpc-utils-4.0.1
