Comment:

 Can you connect a serial port to the laptop's console ?   I am interested
 to see what error message is printed out.

 Or try holding down the check key while powering on the laptop.

 The 52 on the screen is printed by OFW, and indicates that OFW (running on
 one of the main cores) completed early boot, but CForth (running on the
 security processor) noticed that OFW wedged sometime after that.

 This could be a known problem, or something new.   Please send me your
 shipping address ASAP (to wad at laptop.org).  If you can't get more info,
 or it appears to be a new bug we will want to swap it out ASAP.
