Comment:

 please retest with kbdshim-29, which should soon be coming to a release
 near you.

 i believe keyboard presses, touchpad buttons, and touchscreen traffic
 should all be ignored when they happen with a blank screen.  events will
 be ignored until there are no presses/touches in progress.

 simple motion events from the touchpad will not be ignored, since there's
 no easy state tracking that can be done with relative motion events.
