 The problem is probably in the introspection metadata.
 A test app is attached.
 TestCase
 Insert any text in the upper abi widget, select it and press any of the
 buttons "Get selection", the app crash.
 The app crashes also pressing "Get content" if there are text in the abi
 widget.
