 Similarly to #12138 this problem can be demonstrated with this test app:

 https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=63374

 However, after the window automatically resizes, you can see obvious
 visual corruption in the window.

 This might suggest that the driver is not doing any special casing for
 composite requests out of the bounds of the source pixmap, and unlike the
 VIA hardware, this hardware is unforgiving if you ask it to work with such
 conditions.
