#12286: [systemd-]journald should not forward to syslog
------------------------------------+---------------------------------------
Reporter: shawnl | Owner: dsd
Type: defect | Status: assigned

Changes (by dsd):
* next_action: never set => add to build
Comment:
I see that we could set Storage=none in journald.conf and everything in
the journal *should* be sent to syslog by default anyway. However, that
does not seem to be the case - some things (such as stdout from things run
by service files) appears in the journal but not in syslog.
So instead I have opted just to limit the journal's memory usage for now,
since having access to those non-forwarded messages has been really useful
(olpc-os-builder ee48baacf7da0a3d03fea814a4cb41a8825592b3). I opened
#12342 for improving this situation in future.
