 systemd comes with journald, which is a syslog replacement. To avoid
 logging most things twice (#12286) we should drop rsyslogd. The journal is
 a better option for us since it can be more easily configured to limit log
 size, it comes as standard with the system, and it seems to catch
 important messages which are not present in the rsyslog logs.
