Occasionally XOs are leaving the factory with keyboard controller
 connection issues. For example:

A SKU 203 XO-1.75 sent to the OLPC Miami office had two pins of the
keyboard controller IC soldered together. This resulted in two output
characters (with not-always adjacent but predicable second characters
output) for a non-obvious set of input keystrokes.

The manufacturing test process needs to be updated to catch these issues.
