 Maliit interaction with the system locale settings needs to be improved.
 Currently, the source codes hardcodes the en_gb keyboard as default, and
 the language key does nothing.

 Ideally, the default keyboard should be autodetected based on system
 locale.

 For the language key, by default (i.e. when unconfigured) it should either
 cycle through all of the keyboards for locales available on the system, or
 it should cycle through languages selected by LANG and LANGUAGE in the
 base environment.
