Comment:

 Shutting down while only partially drawn is a bug, filed at
 https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=50544

 Even if fully drawn, systemd shuts down "too fast" - we want to give the
 user some time to view the screen.

 Fixed both in olpc-utils c3d39c8a5: we delay for 8 seconds after starting
 to draw the shutdown screen before powering down.
