Comment:

 This functionality was enabled in metacity in F14 but bound to the Super
 key. I think thats the hand key, which kbdshim 'intercepts' probably
 explaining why we never saw it.

 In F17 the default changed, its now bound to Alt. I've submitted a patch
 to metacity to allow us to disable it:

 If that fails we can work around this by unsetting
 org.gnome.desktop.wm.preferences.mouse-button-modifiers
