 os12 boots but doesn't allow login, I presume due to

 libertas_sdio mmc1:0001:1: eth1: PREP_CMD: command 0x001f failed: 1

 being printed continuously to dmesg. cjb and dsd suspect it's caused by a
 recent patch included in os12.
