Comment:

 In the 12.1.0 meeting it was suggested that LEGO only needs the kernel
 modules.

 Either way, we aren't shooting for a higher level of support for 12.1.0
 beyond kernel modules, so our work here is done. Opened #11899 for the
 next steps (userspace), if any.
