 Re testing in 12.1.0 build 11, switching to the home favourite view and
 holding alt switches any user coloured activities to grey (indicating
 start new), but left clicking has no effect. Additional to this... if you
 hold alt, hover over an icon for its palette, then try dragging on the
 palette with left button, the cursor changes to the drag window cross and
 you can move the palette around the screen. The same happens to the
 fullscreen activitie windows... start any activity, hold alt, left click
 drag and the whole window can be dragged about (showing the desktop layer
 in the background).
