 There's something up with the notification area in GNOME on F17 builds.
 (top right of the screen, left of where it says "olpc user")

 Sometimes the icons don't appear, but then they appear later.
 Notifications don't appear properly (test case: run "notify-send foo")

 I don't think this is a driver issue as I think I've seen it on all 3
 laptops. (It may be already reported upstream, I haven't looked.)

 Jon, would you mind diagnosing this?
