New description:

this either needs kernel work (to fully support wakeup control over the
serio devices) or powerd work (to adjust the sysfs nodes that it's
 manipulating. not sure which yet.

symptom is that device wakes up from keyboard when it shouldn't -- when
 it's in lid-sleep or powerbutton-sleep.

Comment:

Keyboard wakeups are disabled on lid close and power button suspend in
 12.1.0 os10 on XO-1.5 and XO-1.75.

On XO-1 with os9 keyboard wakeups still occur under these conditions (as
 expected/RPM not included yet).
