 Some additional testing done.  Have been seeing a refusal to wake on RTC,
 with a frequency of roughly one in a hundred.  Saw one instance of
 ''insane'':

 The refusal to reliably wake on RTC is preventing a long run test.  In
 testing of the olpc-runin-tests package, which also schedules an EC
 wakeup, the probability of not waking is much much higher, of the order of
 one out of two.  A sample runin kernel log:
