 Thanks Simon for the feedback! If it is indeed possible (and reasonable)
 to start up activity code this way _before_ the name/color screen, then
 that is an improvement. We can then guide users through the name/color
 screen process, including hints on using the touchpad.

 (I didn't request such feature because I mistakenly assumed it would be
 running in a context very different from having sugar-shell running,
 leading to complications. If we can have it easily, grand!)
