 scenario: if Read is started from the list view, then a USB drive
 inserted, then the USB drive selected from the object chooser, then a file
 on the USB is selected, then the frame exposed, then the USB drive remove
 option is selected,

 symptom: the USB drive is not unmounted, the USB drive remains listed in
 the frame.

 workaround: if Read is stopped first, then the frame USB drive icon can be
 removed properly.

 desired solution: the USB drive should be unmounted and removed despite
 the Read activity still viewing the file.
