Comment:

 There is something here but it is a bit hard to figure out.

  1. Create 3x3 table in Write with text in each cell.
  2. Close the activity.
  3. Restore the document with the table from the journal.
  4. You will not be able to resize the width of cells, even if you click
 in a cell or write text below the table.

 It is possible to "unfreeze" the table so widths can be adjusted again,
 perhaps by highlighting a few rows/columns/cells of the table and making
 edits.  But I'm not certain of the exact condition(s) which allow the
 widths to be resized again.

 Tested in 12.1.0 os9/Write-78.
