Comment:

 fixed in powerd-100.

 test in build:

 run "xset q"  (or "DISPLAY=:0 xset q" from a serial console) and observe
 that there is no DPMS available.

 disable automatic power management.  observe that screen still dims and
 blanks at the configured times.
