Comment:

 Yes, it is related to the udisks-->udisks2 move.

 udisksctl (from udisks2) isn't able to mount a USB disk, even from the
 command line:
 {{{
 Error mounting /dev/sda1:
 GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.UDisks2.Error.Failed: Command-line `setfacl -m
 "u:root:rx" "/run/media/root"' didn't exit normally: setfacl:
 /run/media/root: Operation not supported
 }}}

 The ACL requirement was introduced in the commit linked to above.

 Needed to enable tmpfs ACLs in the kernel. Fixed in x86-3.3
 8a67da9b5f5e0e17da677ff87695be664202f743. ARM kernel was already OK.
