While using an XO with a window frame partially blocking sunlight, I found
the OLS sensor turning off the backlight of an XO-1.75 when it saw enough
sunlight that it presumed the entire display was covered in sunlight.

But since the XO was partially shaded, this was not the case, and I ended
up with a display I could not read.

I manually turned on the backlight using the brightness control, but
eventually something decided to turn it off again.

We need a clear way to disable the light sensor's disabling of the
backlight when in partial and/or varying shade conditions (moving clouds,
wind-swept trees, etc.). There also needs to be a way to turn the OLS
 behavior back on again.
