 The problem exists in OFW >= Q2E45.  The problem was introduced during the
 adaptation of NANDblaster to XO-1.5; specifically the addition of the
 "writesize" argument to "open_flash()".  The implementation of
 open_flash() in flashio_ofw.c was missing that argument, leading to an
 undefined value for the write buffer size, leading to an undefined value
 being passed to checked_malloc().
