 ah.  this may be a different bug.  there is a very wide "dead" margin
 along the top edge of many 1.75 touchscreens, and it's only if you touch
 the very lower edge of the Paint icons that you can avoid this dead zone.
 os30 has proper touchscreen rotation when you rotate the XO screen.
 please rotate the screen 180 degrees, and try Paint again.  (you can also
 see the dead zone in this configuration -- you won't be able to paint
 there.)
