 jnettlet and i have both seen this behavior:  after some amount of use,
 perhaps involving multiple s/r cycles, the movement of the cursor will
 hesitate, or "stick" a little bit even though the finger swipe is smooth
 and continuous.  in jnettlet's words, it's " like a vertical line down the
 center of the screen.  It is almost like it has friction that slows you
 down and then after you get past it the mouse accelerates to catch up"

 the behavior goes away on a reboot.
