Current testing on an XO-1.75 prototype with touchscreen responds very
poorly with off the shelf capacitive stylus - useful for more details
 writing, sketching, painting.

Two styluses I've tested don't trigger a touch event unless you apply
excessive pressure to flatten out the 'nib' to increase its contact size.
Re-testing, with a stylus to hand (boxwave capacitive ipad stylus), its
'nib' is a 5mm high dome of diameter 7mm. On an iPad, gentle pressure
forming a 5-6mm diameter contact area triggers touch events. For the
XO-1.75 prototype heavy pressure is required to deform the 'nib' to a 9mm
diameter contact area before an event it triggered (too much pressure to
move the stylus over the screen surface to draw).
