Comment:

 Yes, this is by design. You should add images for every box, and add the
 globes to the selected box. The selected box have a white border. The
 first horizontal top box is to add the title/author/date. The design is
 not very clear but will be improved in the future.

 Close this ticket because is not a bug. It's a feature ;)
