Comment:

 12.1.0 os14 has the ELAN driver but it still moves too fast.  Moving
 halfway across the touchpad moves you the entire length/width of the
 screen.

 The 0002 patch (a one-line change) attached to an email coordinating with
 the manufacturer turns this into just a slight (tolerable) overshoot.
 Tested with a custom-compiled kernel.

 The olpc-session "xset m 1/6 1" patch is not necessary, and with this
 added kernel change actually makes moving the length of the touchpad only
 move the cursor about 2/3'rds the width of the screen.
