Comment:

Updated patch description, pushed to stable/unstable branch and released
Sugar, sugar-0.96.3-1.fc17.olpc.noarch.rpm is in my rpm dropbox.

 Test on a 1.75:

 Get the metacity rpm from:
 http://arm.koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=71023, so
 http://arm.koji.fedoraproject.org/packages/metacity/2.34.3/2.fc17/armv7hl/metacity-2.34.3-2.fc17.armv7hl.rpm

 Get the sugar rpm: "scp
 dev.laptop.org:./public_rpms/f17/sugar-0.96.3-1.fc17.olpc.noarch.rpm ."

For XO 1, 1.5 you can get the metacity rpm from:
 http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=325347

 ---TestCase---
 - open the Terminal Activity, hold the alt-key down and try to
click-drag the window ---> dragging the window around should not
       be possible
     - hold the alt key down and start an Activity from the home
screen ---> a new instance should be created rather than resuming
       an old one

Humitos, can you give it a quick try before it hits the build?
